Hip Injuries

The hip is the largest load bearing joint in the body. It is a ball and socket joint and can therefore do a variety of complex movements. It is covered by numerous soft tissues such as muscles, tendons and ligaments. Hip injuries can include soft tissue strains and sprains to degenerative conditions at the joint itself.

The Physiotherapists at East Cliff Physiotherapy Centre have a wide range of experience in the assessment and treatment of hip injuries. They have worked routinely with local Orthopaedic Consultants in helping patients to recover from post operative hip surgery as well as patients with acute Sportsman Groin issues.

We also ensure we complete a thorough assessment as some hip pain can actually be originating from the lower back.
