Andy Mayo

Andy is a Cardiff Physiotherapy graduate who has returned to Dorset in 2006 beginning his career in the NHS in the local hospitals. He went on to specialise in the management of musculoskeletal conditions over the next decade and branched into the private sector over the last 7 years. He is an experienced clinician in treating a wide range of conditions & injuries as well as helping clients with injury prevention and pre/post-surgery conditioning and rehabilitation. He has a keen interest in strength and conditioning as well orthopaedic issues. In recent years Andy has been a keen advocate of Shockwave Therapy where he has great success in treating a wide range of conditions. Outside of work as well as enjoying lifting weights in the gym, he is a family man, enjoying taking his two young daughter’s out and about exploring the area.
